😂The Pisces thing makes so much sense!! My mom can’t take good a picture. She’s either making a face (not on purpose 😂) or she is mid sentence and the picture comes out terrible because she just won’t stop talking or criticizing. Both my parents are Pisces. However, if I do get a gift, practical gifts/acts of service are probably what I appreciate most. One year my sister gave me a complete toolkit that came in a little pink and yellow canvas bag. The tools all have pink handles too (eek! 😆). Another wonderful present was from my mom’s ex partner: he paid to have the the guitar I inherited from my uncle (which had warped) fixed; but he not only paid, he also found a luthier, called and talked to them, and organized everything, so that all I had to do was drop the guitar off at his house. That was amazing!

I tend to be quite critical of myself, without even realizing it, and I’ll feel guilty for not being more sociable (I feel particularly bad about avoiding people I really like and care about), not contributing more to the world, for caring too much about some things and not enough about others etc. but recently I’ve begun wondering what it would be like to stand up for myself more, or even just accept myself as I am even if it seems silly or incomprehensible to other people…

Today’s video cracked me up numerous times - thank you for always bringing the humor Gemma! I think my death card is also the fridge veggie drawer (or as others call it, the crisper). The reading really seems to be speaking to something that came up yesterday & has been gnawing at me - a bossy client telling me when I would be expected to meet with them vs asking when I could meet & trying to drive my work in a way that’s not helpful - totally triggering “daddy issues” because my dad (up until recently) was very controlling, bossy & rigid. I’ve definitely been enlisting my mama bear instinct - setting clear boundaries & not doing what I’m told when I know it a) doesn’t work for me and b) isn’t conducive to high quality, meaningful work - not on my watch! 😂 But alas, I’ve also been having fleeting thoughts of “Ooh, are they going to see me as difficult?” etc - questioning myself and my actions based on old programming. I know that letting go of old limiting beliefs/programming is a process, so been trying to catch the doubties and pivot back to trusting myself. Oh! Funny you said we piscians don’t photograph well but look good in video. This is so true! I have a theory: photo doesn’t capture energy as well as video and Pisces is pure fluid energy. That’s why we suck in trying to “stuck our energetic state” to a single frame. It feels better in a succession of ones, cause that’s how life feels really. That just became too philosophical, haha.
